The easiest way to shop flaurena™ is to take a peek at my Etsy and Zibbet stores, where you’ll find items that are ready to mail.
If you don’t have an account with either Etsy or Zibbet and don’t want to register, that’s okay – just email me with the details and we’ll take it from there.
I pride myself on being able to accurately interpret someone’s ideas to create a custom piece of jewellery.
Whether you want to modify one of my own designs or have one of your own, I can make you a lovely piece of jewellery within your budget, no matter how small you think it is.
Have a virtual stroll through my portfolio to inspire you. Although I can re-create most of my Beads designs, the pieces in the Wire Sculpture collection are so organically-shaped that no two are alike.
A commissioned piece should have your input, so I’ll email you photos at each step of the process to get your feedback.
A 50% deposit is required with the balance payable upon completion.
Many of the pieces in the Wire Sculpture Jewellery gallery were made on commission – you’ll be able to see specific examples in a dedicated gallery soon - but in the meantime you can also read comments from happy customers.
If you’re thinking about commissioning a piece of jewellery, feel free to drop me a line – I’d love to hear your ideas!
How to Care for Your Jewellery
Where there’s air, there’s oxidised metal! But other substances like salt water, chlorine and sweat can discolour your jewellery too.
In most cases you can gently polish with a soft anti-tarnish cloth. For a more intensive cleaning, dilute a gentle dish-washing liquid in lukewarm water and use your fingers to clean. Rinse well, and leave to air dry on a cotton towel.
I select materials based on colour, texture and proportion, and try to balance quality with affordability.
Unless otherwise noted, all metal used in my jewellery is either sterling silver or 14-karat gold fill – which is hypoallergenic and has a higher gold content than gold plate.

First Class USPS shipping charges are included in the cost of the jewellery.
International
I am happy to mail jewellery anywhere in the world, and have lots of personal experience with shipping items overseas!
Typically, sending a necklace from the U.S. to Europe is around $10 and can take up to 3 weeks to receive. Please feel free to email me to discuss.
Please note that you will be responsible for any taxes or duties levied by customs in your country.
UPS / FedEx / Insurance
It’s very easy for me to add these extra shipping options if you would like them. Please contact me before purchasing so I can create a reserved Etsy or Zibbet listing for you to reflect the extra shipping charges. Alternatively, I can send a revised invoice via PayPal.
I appreciate that buying a piece of jewellery without being able to try it on first can be a little daunting – I’ve been there myself!
I make every effort to describe my jewellery as accurately as possible and strive to take photos that reflect its ‘vibe’ – of course, every computer monitor is different, so the colours on your screen may vary ever so slightly.
I am confident that you will love your jewellery and that’s the way I want it to be! I’m happy to make minor alterations (e.g. shortening a chain) to your flaurena™ jewellery free of charge, except for the cost of extra materials, if applicable, and shipping.
In the event that you wish to return an item, please contact me first. In most cases I am happy to offer a full refund, less return shipping charges. Please note, for hygiene reasons I am unable to refund earrings.
As commissioned pieces are made with someone specific in mind, I will refund 75% of the price, less charges for any special order materials and shipping.
Simple: I do not share any of your information with anyone. End of!
